Accademia di Belle Arti & many places in the city
By now in its fourth edition, the Bolognese Academy of Fine Arts opens its doors for the public. Moreover, the students leave their educational terrain. Besides the events and performances organised in the traditional walls, numerous students worked with established galleries in curated exhibitions. For them, it is a wonderful occasion to show works in the gallery context, make experience, establish contacts and defend the own work in front of a larger public. However, the practice is vice versa: gallerists and art lovers can discover young artists and discuss their works with them. A highlight to do so was the Gallery Night on Wednesday 20 June. We visited six galleries for you. Here our impressions:
